Little Seeds

I have wings to fly for seeds
to give eager little minds
bright and young
like little grass buds

Capable little seeds
filled with great capabilities
seem to glow in the sunlight
or perhaps it's their smile

Loved little seeds melt
sad hearts with their sweet words
their clumsy feet topple and wobble
so doubting hands will stop their fall

Glorious little people
with precious gifts for the old
we give to them earthly knowledge
they give us heavenly joy

Sprouting little people
as you grow in stature and in mind
don't rush the maturing process
you have your whole life to learn
to grow beside the Great Tree
